CALL FOR SPECIAL SESSIONS AND MINI-WORKSHOPS
Members of our community are invited to contribute to the shaping of the GSG 2022 program by submitting proposals for the organization of Special Sessions and/or Mini-Workshops.
Prospective organizers should submit their proposals using the appropriate template file (Template_for_Special_Session or Template_for_Mini_Workshop).
Call for Special Sessions
Special Sessions will be complementary to the 12 General Sessions (Themes) of GSG 2022, highlighting trends and emerging topics and stimulating focused discussions.
Proposals will be evaluated based on the timeliness of the topic. In case of largely overlapping proposals, the academic qualifications of the organizers will be evaluated, as well.
How to submit
Complete the Template_for_Special_Section.pdf and e-mail to: gsg2022@upatras.gr
Existing fields in the templates refer to the minimum required amount of information.
If the proposers wish, they can provide additional information by adding new fields.
Deadline for submission: September 10, 2021
Call for Mini Workshops
Mini-Workshops are defined as brief (half-day, preceding the main conference) intensive educational programs for a small group of people. They can include a series of specialized lectures on a hot and/or rapidly emerging research topic or hands-on activities (e.g., demonstration and practice on specialized software, instrument, tools, etc).
We strongly encourage the proposal of mini-workshops targeting students and young scientists. Prospective organizers should be accurate in the description of the organizational needs of the proposed mini-workshop.
GSG 2022 Organizing Committee will evaluate pertinent proposals based on their timeliness and expected impact, as well as their feasibility in terms of organization.
